I think gage is spot on. I'm about 90% sure thats a flowerhorn. First off, it looks like its still a young fish, and depending on the conditions its in I'd say isn't showing full coloration and dominance. Could be female...I'm not familiar with flowerhorns, but have seen numerous juveniles in pet stores that look identical to the one in the first pic. Not sure on the second pic.

and flowerhorns come in many different strains, dont forget that either.

When I first saw the second picture I wasn't sure exactly what it was, but I could tell it was a south American breed. It is similar to the severum, but thats not it. I'm pretty sure it's an emerald cichlid. They have many common names but the give aways are the yellow eyes and subdued subtle coloration. They can go by a couple scientific names Heros temporalis and Cichlasoma temporale are most common. This may not be exactly it, but definately in the right catergory. Here is a pic.
