Question What Can I Add To My Tank?

I've got a 29 gallon tank with 1 oscar fish and 1 convict. The oscar fish is about 4 inches, and the convict is about 1 inch and a half. These two do good with each other, but I recently made the mistake of putting a green terror in the tank that was the same size as the oscar (4 inches). I took him out because he was too aggressive toward the other fish. My question now is, What are some compatible fish? I was thinking maybe another oscar fish and a couple angel fish, and get them about an inch and a half big. I know oscars grow big but this is just a starter tank for them. I've included a picture of the tank setup, if you think it needs something more, let me know. So yea, a list of some compatible fish, with a little advise would be nice.

jack dempsey help!

You could add a smaller jack dempsey.... try to make it smaller than the oscar due to the aggresiveness of the dempsey!
Green Terrors are monsters thus the name "green TERRORS!" : )

I would not add anything to the 29 gal. Oscars ,even small oscars, need space to grow and this tank will MAYBE,, support the oscar for six months no more depending on filtration and your maint. routine along with proper foods.
ALL cichlids are territorial, and there simply isn't room for them to stake out their claims in a 29 gal.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

Agreed. You're eventually going to need at least a 75g tank in order to keep the oscar, although the convict can stay in that tank long term. If you plan on upgrading to at least a 75g tank, good tankmates include large schooling fish, other medium-aggressive large cichlids, plecos, large loaches, and things like banded leporinus. Keep in mind that some of these get quite big so you'd need an even bigger tank. For example, for an oscar and a good herd of clown loaches, I'd want something like a 180g tank.

But, as was pointed out, the oscar isn't going to last long in a 29g tank as he will quickly outgrow it, so I can't really recommend any tankmates in a tank of that size.
