update how my GBR's are getting along

So I have my existing male; who is a gorgeous boy :) I bought 2 females, a little over one week ago. It's been interesting. The first female he appeared to select, changed, and he "liked" the other female within 3 days. They all seem to be doing okay together, though there is always one female that is "with" the male, and one left out. The color variation they show varies, depending on who is "in". I'm happy that no one is being "beat up" to any extent, just the perhaps normal chasing, here and there.

I'm not sure they will ever spawn, and I dont' see the connection he had with his first female, who did sadly, die :(

Just because animals can't talk, does not mean they should not be heard
