Throwing out BLack Convict

ok, a black convict just stowaway with my feeder guppies. I jsut read they're aggresive and will eat my plants. It's still rather small... so either someone takes it off my hands or I feed it to my turtles. I live in Jersey City, NJ. PM me if you want. The moment I see my tank going to hell from this fish, it's going to my turtles.

Feed it to your turtles, they will enjoy the treat.

i'm sorry,i can't pick him up because i live in australia

but may i ask why you guys are encouraging a person to end a fishes life?

i mean that one fish could go to a young and keen to learn fishkeeper and grow the hobby evan further.
but then again, i could be going whacko's.
anyone else believe what i am saying?

probably not :(

Convicts are so prolific and on top of that, very aggressive that no hobbyist would probably take a fish like that unfortunately. An inexperienced person probably will but I hate the idea of a fish suffering on his/her hand instead with gill burns from ammonia, ich and several horrible things. If no one likes a con, then it will have to be fed to the turtles.:)

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

Convicts are great feeders. If you keep piscivorous fish you probally wont have hard feelings about feeding a small fish to a bigger ones. Turtles will gladly accept fish if they can catch them.
