I very much like your tank. I might move the pots so they aren't so close together. Do you have another tank to place some of them in when and if a pair forms? The Brichardi is capable of sending all fish to the corner of the tank when spawning activity takes place or young fry are present. Especially other Brichardi. They can be nasty during this time and you may need to move the others to keep em from being killed. I always liked this fish but expieriences during mating and fry rearing neccessitated another tank that I couldn't provide at the time. I gave them to fish store and they have a twenty gal tank and seems they are always producing young fish for the owner of the store. She has taken a liking to the adult pair and only sells the young ones.

Tank looks much better in regards to different places for fish to call their turf. You will know when a pair has formed for they will stake out their claim to one area and won't allow others to visit. This could be some time after the fish are more comfortable in their new surroundings. I think if a pair forms, I would move them to the two foot tank and leave the others in the larger tank. I'm not sure how to sex them for certain but perhaps someone else does.
