so i couldnt do a firemouth and angels? ive really wanted one since i started.

oh and would the bleeding hearts work? i dont really like danios/ minnows.

I doubt that many cichlids with the possibility of having two breeding pairs would work out in something as small as a 55.

whats the best number of angels to do that wont end with a pair? i have 11 and 3 tanks to put them in. if i have to ill sell some.

angels are best kept in pairs or in school... which means for the fish to be at it's best the chance, if not likely hood of a pair exists.

how do i do a school? ill have a couple of 29 gallons for pairs just in case.

The point is mixing 3 cichlids in something as small as a 55 gallon is a bad idea. Especially with one being a pair and their being a possibilty of other pairs.
