Hmmm I would say no to most of those.
~acanthicus adonis (Adonis Pleco) Gets absolutely huge, even for a pleco. These will break three feet in length and thus need a very large aquarium.
~red tail barracuda Should work ok but does better in groups than singly. These are also very expensive and require live foods.
~ arrowana should be ok! Good choice! I would say no. The smaller species should be in a 180g minimum, silvers need something like a 300g.
~ A dovii would be great, too! Maybe a female, but males get absolutely gigantic so I would say 180g minimum for a male.
~calvus cichlid (they only get about 6 inches, but they are AMAZINGLY PRETTY) This would work, but doesn't really fit the job description.
~Some type of Tiger Datnoid It's possible, but a 180g would be better.
~ Senegal Bichir Should work just fine.
~ Discus fish Kind of mild mannered and do better in groups. Would work well in this tank but doesn't really fit the bill.
If I were you, I would stick with medium-large cichlids like your jaguar. There are many species of pike cichlid that would also work nicely.
