Starting over on the 30 gallon high
I have the 30 gallon high, and I've been able to rapidly rehome all the fish that came with it from Mr. Ebay into my local fish club. I was going to set up a mbuna tank and let some juveniles grow out in that tank. But now I'm not really sold on the idea. I'm thinking I'll wait to do cichilds until I've got room for a really BIG tank so I can really do it up right.
So, I've got all this height on the tank, it's 24X25X12. What do you all think of a couple of angels (maybe one black, one koi?) heavily planted, a lot of cardinal tetras, and maybe some kind of cory? The tank is dead center in my living room, bigger than my TV and frankly, much more noticeable, so it really needs to be a show tank. Could I keep several species of tetra? or perhaps a school of tetras and a school of danios?
I'm thinking sand and something plant friendly mixed together for substrate, any suggestions?
