Any reasons this may be?
I change the water enough.
Everything is fine in my tank, all measurements are normal.
They're just skittish when i come near the tank.
It's not a high traffic area tank either.
It's in my room. Nobody goes in there.

It's a 29 G with 5 yellow Labs in it.
Perhaps 2 of the 5 are hybrids... :(
Probably between a Lab and Julie... The Hybredzed ones look like Watered down Julies.
Not Ugly, but not amazingly beautiful either.
They are a greenish orange tint on the body, Orange egg spots (5 or 6) and Irredescent blue fins.

Nope, and actually, I found out they're not Hybrids...
They're red Zebras... Which aren't red at all Ironically.... ???
I have my little brothers, but they never go into my room.
I'll cut back on the light.
So I have 3 Red Zebra Cichlids, and 2 Yellow Labs.
The labs I have seen mating before,
And I just saw the Zebras mating yesterday.
The guy who gave me the Zebras told me "They are Rare Colored Yellow Labs."
But it turns out he was taking advantage of me because I was new to Cichlids a year ago.
So he ruined my species tank project.
But At least I have breeding potential.
I've never seen the Labs and Zebras trying to spawn.
So thats always nice.
Thanks for the help everyone!!

Did you happen to change any lighting in the room where they are located?.....Move any lamps?......replace bulbs in room lights?....move the tank from one area to another?...........

Being backlit and approaching the tank, might look very predatory to your fish and cause them to be stressed and scared.........Its just a thought.........Had a Jack Dempsey a few years ago, who went thru a stretch of flipping out for a few weeks, till i realized i moved a light in the room and i was casting a huge shadow accross his tank when i apporached it........I moved the light back and it was an instant change is his attitude..........
