Maybe a female green terror

Female green terrors only get to be about 5 inches full grown and they are very beautiful. I have a 30 gallon with a GT and she is very happy. As long as you have some nice decorations, caves and plants it will look good and the fish will be happy. Males get to be too big but the females are much smaller.

you have a Uaru in a 30g tank you do know they get 10-12" right? a 30g tank is way to small for a Uaru...

anyway, the venestus can attain 10-12" as well if im not mistaken.

look for any cichlid that stays under 7" and they will be OK, i would get a pair of firemouths.
