I've had a male Krib for about a month and sort of feel bad wondering if he should have a female. Will a female change him and will will it upset the dynamic of my full community tank? What are the chances that Kribs will breed?
I think, like Daz asked, it would depend what else is in the tank. I used to have 2 kribs, 1 male and 1 female, and the male bullied and harassed the female so much I had to return him. The female did not make it. I have heard that you are best keeping 3 females to each male because the males often harass the females too much because they are so eager to breed.
Kribs however tend to be more agressive when spawning, so perhaps it's not a good idea to have both male and female in a community tank?
