red peacock color ?

I have a red peacock cichlid that seems to lose all his color midday. But in the morning and at night he gets all his color back. I figure its stress related but my water seems to be good and I havent added any new fish. My bumble bee is the alpha fish and does seem to pick on the others every now and then. any ideas? anything I should do or is this just natrual.

Is that about the agressiveness or the color change?
