okay 30 sounds good.

im not sure what gender my convicts are but i believe they are two females and a male.

if it turns out that theres two males and one female should i remove a male? ive heard they are very agressive towards each other

Yes i would recomend if you have 2 males to get rid of one. cause they will fight to the death.
The reason i say 30 gallon is for space for the fish and all the fry that will be born. You wil also want to put a lot of hiding places for them rock work, ect.

ouch, I definately would not try it, for one, I am pretty sure you would catch a case of ich, too stressful on these fish in such a small aquarium

Why wouldnt you put them in a 30 gallon.? I have a breeding trio of red zebras in my 30 gallon. and not one problem. I get fry every month. they are bout the same size of fish.

sorry I was reading the post where 10 gallon was mentioned and I guess I didn't flip the page...LOL.....but I agree, 30 gallon would definately work, you won't have a problem, are these the only fish you plan on stocking in it?
