I don't see ick, but I do see some missing scales. Also, it seems to have little to no markings. My experience with Oscars has been that they will eat anything they can swallow; however, they are not necessarily aggressive toward fish closer to their own size. Is it being bullied ? What other fishes do you have with it.

JD are generally not that calm, a lot of aggression usually takes place when we are not around.

I do not see any ick on him but am a little worried about the betta, can you post a clearer picture at all?

Convicts usually would not bother an oscar unless they are breeding and he is straying too close to them.

Try treating him with Melafix and see if his scales come back, the tank is also a little small for him which means if there is any aggression he would be quite prone to catching himself on things. The color is a little off what a Lemon would usually look like but this could be down to stress.

Hey guys, I can not seem to get a better picture of the betta so should i treat it with ich/ick meds if the spots get bigger? and should we move him to a seperate tank so if it is ich/ick it wont infect the other fish?
