Possible dilema

Hey guys, I was given 4 free fire mouth cichlids, and I realized after that they are all male. Is it ok to keep all males together? They seem to school peacefully a lot, and chase and peck each other a lot as well. should I I give/trade 2 or three of them away? should I add some other fish to act as dithers? right now I only have the 4 fire mouths.

I think it depends on how big your tank is. I think the males can get territorial whether there are females or not. So in a large enough tank that has mucho plants/mucho wood/mucho rock, it could work. Depends. Or, it could get worse as they age. How big is your tank? Can you decorate pretty heavily?

Also, I think they can be a bit tricky to sex. (Why does the Run DMC song play in my head every time I say "tricky"?)

"My dither fish need dither fish!"

my tank is 44.9 gallon, and pretty heavily decorated. LOL, I don't think I have ever heard that song.

Too small for 4 adult males or any more than 1 adult male really. I would keep one and rehome the rest.

"responsible fish keeper?... Didn't know there was any other kind"

I am not retarded I just can't spell
