Question Please help!

We have a red zebra who's babies have hatched maybe a week and half to two weeks ago. When is it time for them to come out and is there anything we can do to help her or babies?

Best to leave them alone. The parents will escort them out when ready.Might provide some fry food for young ones. they will be too small to take foods offered for adults. Many fish stores sell foods for baby fishes.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

Thank you for your help. Other african chiclids in the tank have started picking on mom so we put her in one of those nets that go inside your tank to keep babies safe should we have done that?

Most female cichlids are capable of defending their young and themselves when young are present. So long as babies remain with the mother and there is cover for them they should do ok. there are also some fish in which it is the male who gaurds the young. Not sure bout your particular cichlid. Google information on breeding that species and you should find out more.
