Are there plant friendly cichlids? I had an oscar that died a few month's ago and they are NOT plant friendly so I'm not getting another one. I'd like to be able to have a few cichlids in my fish tank (50 gallons). Are there any that are plant friendly and are not overly territorial?
That really depends on what kind of plants you want to have. I have a handful of cichlids species and moss is all I can really keep. I'm sure others may have more to add.
Keyhole cichlid's might could work in 50 gal.
They are not hard on plant's ,don't get too large, and get along in small groups.
