I might google ..Angelfish and then click on images. It's what I do a lot.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

Like anything variation exists. There is a sticky in this forum with lots of angelfish pictures. Also if you're really interested the angelfish breed club has published confirmation standards for angels. Its listed on their website.

Link to pictures of the standards of The Angelfish Society. You have to scroll to the bottom to see the pics. Ideally the body should be round.

Sometimes when they are really small they have an elongated shape that makes them look more pointy [nosed] than round. They usually round out around quarter to half dollar size.

Yeah... I've had a few angel fish for a while now and regardless of what they've looked like (assuming they are the "typical" angel fish type) they all develop their fins and round out nicely.

unless you purposely sought out an altum or leopoldi angel fish yours are very likely "typical" scalare angel fish. the others don't tend to be for sale at fish stores. leopoldi seem rare, even online. i think their long nose and aggressiveness both make them undesirable to angel fish keepers, so there's not much money in breeding them.
