Peacock Cichlids

Has anyone had any experience breeding them? Im looking to start breeding them in my newly set up breeding room.

They are fairly easy to breed.

1 Male to several females and nothing else in the tank apart from the fish, sandy bottom and a few rocks for hiding places once the fry are born.

what species are you looking at breeding?

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)

Probably the benga yellows or swallowtails or German reds if I can get some...would a 40 breeder be enough for one breeding group?
