Pale Bolivian Ram

Since i got my Bolivian Ram a couple days ago, shes been pretty pale.

All her stripes and spots that are black are no longer black, more like light gray.

Ive been feeding frozen cubes, blood worms, brine shrimp, emerald pack, etc etc

During night time she seems to get some color back. My heater keeps my tank below 80 degrees but not lower than 75.

I don't know what to do, please help.

Wait and feed a good high quality food.

She just needs to feel settled in. I think it took mine a couple of weeks before they showed good color.

I agree the best you can do is wait, as long as the following are not an issue;

Water parameters (test your water)
Bully fish
Illness or parasite

I moved my pair of rams to a holding tank and back a couple of weekends ago as I was redoing their tank and the female freaked out, it took a week in their new tank with the male constantly at her side before she got comfortable and started acting normal again.

AS other have said, the colour should come back after a while. My rams still change colour over the course of a day, starting with darker colours and becoming paler. A dark substrate helps develop fishes colours too
