Large plecos have been known to suck the slime coat off large slowmoving fish,. That's why don't keep them with discus. Oscars can also fall victim. You need to seperate them or your going to lose a fish.

Doubtfully. They suck it because they like the taste but the damage is to the fish itself, not just the slime coat. Personally, Stress Coat seems like a pretty useless product in the first place.

I wouldnt really be worried about the bio load as long as its well filtered.... thats a heavy bioload but not an unmanageable one. id be all for it personally, if they all got along :\

imho sounds like your pleco needs his own small tank where he can be a jerk in privacy lol

Dedicated, converted, lowes / home depot bulb buyer!
