if you bought them as juveniles and put them in a big enough tank it could work...

Would they work as adults?

125 gallon- 1 black ghost knife, 1 senegal bichir, 1 blue jack dempsey, 1 needle nose gar, 1 red tailed shark

the oscar and the terror are rather territorial, if they grow up together they have a much better chance of not attacking each other.

once they become adults they are generally hard to introduce new fish to them.

only way you may be able to do introduce them as adults is if they are roughly the same size and if the tank is big enough for one to get away from the other one and hide.

i think you would have a hard time trying to introduce convicts to the oscar or green terror if they wer already adults...

on the other hand if you have a pair of convicts that want to breed they will attack the oscar and terror....

i have an oscar and a pair of convicts, they get along ok, the occasional stand off occurs but no one gets hurt...

confused yet? :D

could be. most importanly what size tank are you talkin? an oscar needs a bare minimum of 55 gallons to himself when fully grown. if u get them when small and dont have overly aggressive fish then it could work. i have a fully grown oscar, firemouth, convict, and a couple giant dannios living peacefully in a 120 gallon. it all depends on if you have given them a big enough home with plenty of hiding places and the temperment of your fish.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
