Oscar tankmates.

Hello, I have a few questions t ask and would be grateful for some help.

My LFS display tank houses a pair of oscars and a sailfin pleco, I adore those fish and have always drooled over it when going there!
now I am moving house in the next couple of months and will be able to have a larger tank in addition to my current 5 ft planted tank.

I am looking at a 180 US gallon tank (63 inch X 24 wide X 28 tall) with a Fluval FX5 filter(rated for up to 400 gall, happy to run two if needed, I know I am looking at messy fish!)- would that be suitable for the oscar/gibbs pleco combination?
I keep finding people recommending 130 gall for the combination proposed, so if my new tank will have space for another fish what would you recommend?

The tank and filtration sound's fine to me for the fish mentioned.
For tankmate(s) ,I might consider an Electric blue Dempsey that grow's large enough not to be viewed as food by the Oscar(assuming Oscar purchased is juvenile), and isn't nearly as aggressive as regular Blue/Green dempsey's.
Or I might consider a shoal of five or six, Synodontis Multipunctatus (grow to around seven inches).
Large driftwood pieces, sand substrtae(cheap), and smooth river stones,Flagstone, to make cave arrangement for the Synodontis.
Lot's of other not too aggressive larger South american cichlid's could work but i confess to being partial with regard's to the electric blue Dempsey's.
Kept one from two inches to adult size before I sold him to a couple who placed him in much larger tank than the 80 gal I kept him in .
