Oscar with hole in the head...Help!!!

I did a search on here and didn't really find anything.
I have two oscars, a tiger and an albino both about a year old.
The tiger has had hole in the head for about two months.
I clean my tank every week, water quality is good.

He will get to looking a little better and then right back to how he was.
He isn't acting like it really bothers him.

Is there anything that I can do?

sorry to hear that , but in order to further help we need to find out a bit more

what size tank do you have ?

when you say clean it , what does that entail ?

also what type of filtration are you running ?

and do you have a liquid test kit ?

the best thing to do for HITH is just to do 50 % water changes every other day

HITH can be caused by poor water conditions ,improper nutrition, and overcrowding

Agreed. While there doesn't seem to be a definitive "cause" for HITH disease all of the above mentioned conditions seem to be contributing factors. So, in addition to the questions already asked, what are you feeding the fish?
