Congrats! Acei are a great fish! They are a bit calmer than other mbunas and tend to stay in the middle and top region of the aquarium. I would increase the number of acei to 3 or 4 because they like to be with eahother. I would also add one more albino zebra. Add another species of mbuna too. You want to overstock that tank plus it won't look bad either.

It's always fun getting new fish. I just moved my Congo tetras out of QT and into the 55 with the others. Today I bought 3 more Tiger barbs (they're now in the QT), some ghost shrimp for the guppy tank and a new plant (anubias barteri) for the angel tank. It's been dreary and rainy all day so I thought it'd be a good day to stay inside and tinker with my tanks.

Got any pics of the new fish?

Those are very nice looking.. Healthy too it seems...
I just purchased 2 from my local fish store and one
actually didnt do well.. mine are much smaller and now I have
one lonely one I went back to the fish store yesturday... and I
took the slightly thawed out fish with me....... and they would
not take him back and credit me with another one until I brought
them a WATER SAMPLE... ( I WAS PISSED)
this is a store were I have spent alot of money in the last year...
I will be going back in there today... provided the man that owens
the place is there...
HAVE you all ever heard of such a thing to return a fish....
HELL.. man I have several established tanks... who to say
I take them a sample of my Cichlid Show tank that has been running now for
a year.. and breeding fish left and right.. WHOS to say I dont just take them
a sample of some one elses water that I know is GOOD... this is rediculious..
BUT I DEGRESS.....
VERY NICE LOOKING FISH .. you should be PROUD to have such mature ones
they are outstanding.. and I bet the COLOR is more empressive in person....
Be sure to feed them GOOD QUALITY FOOD.. so there color will POP.....
I hear SPECTRUM .. does wonders for Cichlid COLOR......

thanks for letting me vent on your thread...( lol)
