well...for a little while i thought my dreams of a lake malawi mnuba tank were out the window...since then the dream at been reinflated and i got 2 new fish to add with my already 2 albino zebras!! I got 2 Acei!!! Im so excited...they are very pretty fish!! they are currently in QT and i cant wait to introduce then to the main display tank
Congrats! Acei are a great fish! They are a bit calmer than other mbunas and tend to stay in the middle and top region of the aquarium. I would increase the number of acei to 3 or 4 because they like to be with eahother. I would also add one more albino zebra. Add another species of mbuna too. You want to overstock that tank plus it won't look bad either.
It's always fun getting new fish. I just moved my Congo tetras out of QT and into the 55 with the others. Today I bought 3 more Tiger barbs (they're now in the QT), some ghost shrimp for the Guppy tank and a new plant (Anubias barteri) for the angel tank. It's been dreary and rainy all day so I thought it'd be a good day to stay inside and tinker with my tanks.
we must have posted at the same time...pics are above your post lol....yes even when it isnt rainy and dreary it is ALWAYS a good day to tinker with tanks lol
