New babies!!!!!!!!

My new Lifalilli Jewel cichlids have just spawneddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!! mega excited here.... but does any one know if there is much chance that they will survive in a community of mainly other cichlids? So far tehy are guarding their brood really well and there is about 150 littlelings!

Anyone got any advice?

There is a good change they will be eaten, when they start swimming around they will make tasty little snacks.

I'm so happy for you - and your little Jewels! They're SO cute, and their parents are just stunning. . . one day I hope I'll be lucky enough to see Cichlid brood-care, just an amazing thing. . .


You'll have to keep us updated on how things go over there. Fingers crossed that a few make it to adulthood.
