Hi Aussie thanks for your input I've actually kept yoyos and angels together and never had such problems myself as long as their in a fair sized group they usually just play with each other
I've never had kuhlis before I hear there quite shy have you found this to be the case with yours?

I find them to be a little more shy, a little less than cories. A bigger group and a lot of hiding places will help. But yoyos are definitely more active.

Ya their cool. I would add the rummys next. Just incase when the angels get bigger they wont consider the rummys a food source. Cuz they look a little bigger than i thought.

When stocking up a tank, every fish will be different. So what might work for you might not work of others. There has been many successful "cases" of yoyo's with angels however I have seen some when the yoyo's have harassed the angels. Same with clowns.

Welcome, I glad that your managed to keep them successfully together! Sounds like you have the holy grail of fishes. haha
Kuhlis can be quite shy if they kept in a shoal of 6 or less, the more the merrier and the more bold they will get! Another thing worth mentioning is that the striped kuhlis seem to be more shy compared to the black ones. Currently I have 6 stripe kulhis and 1 black one and for some reason the black one is out all the time! However I am in the process of getting some more pals for the black kuhli so I can really observe his activity.

BTW, I really loving your angels! They look nice and big, already becoming the centerpiece of your tank!

Thanks Aussie I may invest in some kuhlis for my next tank sound like fun would they be ok in a 16gal? With some guppies?
Picking up my yoyos in a few days so they should be ok since there in a group I think a lot of it comes down to individual personalities
Looks like I've found a home for the common in a 7ft tank with some oscars so that will be ideal for him I should think then ill replace him probably with some bristle nose
I got some slate today which ill use to make a hiding place for the bottom dwellers as well as the bog wood
I have more I'm going to add but it's been soaking for ages and won't sink so still waiting
I'm also looking for something to go at the top of the tank does anyone have any ideas I've ordered some frogbit so that will decorate some of it I was thinking of stringing up some bog wood anyone done this before or other suggestions would be awesome.

Ya kuhlis would be nice in the 16.

Do you want plants or fish at the top? Cuz hatchets will be at the top the whole time.
