New 29 gallon tank

I got a new (really 15 year old) 29 gallon tank. It contains 1 6-7 inch bala shark, a 7-8 inch pleco, and 2 cichlids. the problem is i dont know what type of cichlids they are 1 is 5-6 inches and the other 1 is 8 inches. Here are some pics. Can you tell me what type they are? It is a set fish tank and the bigger cichlid acts as a body gaurd for the bala shark.

Any help is appreciated

Both are Lake Malawi cichlids though specific species ID is my problem around this group. The tank size looks too small for a 29 gallons.

It is a 30 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 18 1/2 inches tall the little one (aqua is its name)(it changes from blue to white with its attitude) wont stop picking fights with the 7 year old pleco and the 7 inch bala shark. Should i move the bala to a 55 with the stock listed in my signature?

No, give him to your lfs. Balas like a lot of swimming space and your 55g is already cramped with tins and silver dollars.

He has been in there for years with these fish and they were moved here today so i am going to give it a little time not ot mention the big guy (Zeus) acts like his body gaurd and loves to through rocks at people walking bye. I am wondering if i should switch the small old pleco with my young 11 inch one who is probably more able to take the beatings although the pleco does ignore them. Bullet Proof as i have heard in one of these threads.
