need help sexing my 2 convicts

My 2 convicts names are salt and pepper. One is darker than the other and appears to be losing the orange spots on it's side. This fish is also more aggressive than the other chasing it around the tank. I am wondering if they are just battling for territory or if one is m/f, they are both the same size but one is more plumper than the other. The plumper one seems to be the less aggressive with lighter colors and more orange on the side. I would have pictures but they turn out blurry on my digi cam. Thanks in advance for any help
