Ok I can up size the split to 1.5" that should do right? And the pump I picked actually has a rating of 2016 at 10' rise so that's why I put the 2000 gph. other than that what do you think should be more that enough right?

I think your on the right track.
Does this aquarium have overflow box or standpipes in it?

that sump is bigger than my show tank.

This seems like a real challenge, but of course its one that any avid aquarist would be more than happy to take on.
Thanks for bringing this to tfk and best of luck.

Well I guess we will see if one 2" standpipe will supply the pump. My setup as the opposite problem there are multiple tank an a central filter, keeping the water dissipated evenly to the tanks is handled with valves.
There's no doubt you can make it work.

Wow, such a cool tank!
Will be watching....

540L/140G - 'Tidal Jungle' (Crabs) | 254L/67g - 'Backwater Pool' (Fish/Snails) | 96L/25G - ''Twisted Minds" (Fish/Snails)

I've never had any problems with 'Impulse Buying'. They're just animals that I forgot I had planned to get.

Well had the tank delivered Thursday. Spent most of the weekend redoing the plumbing and cleaning it. Got it filled to check my joints. Waiting on pump and uv sterilizer to finish return side. Things are coming together really nice. any thoughts on interesting stock for tank. I like the yellow labs but don't know the common names of many others.

That's going to make a fantastic cichlid tank. If you like labs then you're looking at african cichlids. My experience is with south american but there's lots of people on the forum who have experience with africans and could advise on stocking/species.

Thanks for posting, can't wait to see what this turns into.

If you can please post more photos of your tank and equipment. A500 gallon tank is just amazing dream tank.
Good luck!

Well merry Christmas to all. I got the tank all ready going to get first fish tomorrow. Here are some pics of the tank and equipment.

I ran the 50 gal sump that came with the tank on the left then made the 90 gallon tank I had before into another sump on the right. I used an aquasurge 4000 waterfall pump from aquascape and a 36 watt uv sterilizer and 2 800w finnex heaters.

Will post more pics tomorrow
