i think its a female, just because its lacks the black in the dorsal fin and it seems the egg spots on it arent as well defined as in the males.....

Pseudotropheus socolofi .....For sure............Cobalts lack black in the caudal fin..........I have had both in the last 20 years.......its a socolofi, and as stated before, probably a female

i'll have to agree with the others...looks like a socolofi.

You want us to name that blue cichlid? I think you should name him Ralph. He just looks like a Ralph to me.

If you want us to ID the fish then I am siding with Fishin Pole and Mollie. It is a socolofi. Of course we are looking at a picture as opposed to the actual specimen.
