My Oscar's Accomodations
Ok, I'm deciding on exactly what I would have to do in order to house other fish with my Oscar. I have heard stories of people having a dinosaur Bichir relative to the size of a cichlid or oscar and they would live peacefully. I know that that is possible. Anyway, I'm also deciding to have an oddball in the tank. The bottom of the tank is sandy and there's not much aquarium salt in the tank. I want to add a flounder but, and don't worry about the size(i don't mix small fish with big fish like that), what are the water qualifications for oscars, bichirs and flounders? would I be able to mix them?
what size tank is it before I go into answering the other questions?
10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)
75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.
220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)
