my jack dempsey hides alot?

i have a 4 inch female jack dempsey who use to be very active then became ill after she got well she started hideing alot . i noticed she only swam around in the dark and when the lights are turned on she hides is this normall ?

Yep.. it's normal for Jack Dempsey to hide in caves and in the dark. I saw a tank once with a 10" jack male an 8" female and over 30 fry that were 2-3". The tank was completly devoid of fish to look at. They were all hiding in the decorations lol.

Mine hide all the time when I had them.

As Ladayen said, nothing to worry about, good idea on adding caves.

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)
