Water should test zero for ammonia and nitrites and nitrAtes should be twenty or below for healthy fish. Filtration should include healthy bacteria population, and be properly sized for your tank and properly maintained by rinsing out the filter material during weekly water changes in old aquarium water or dechlorinated water. I would see that all of the above is as it should be and keep an eye on the fish.
