My fish was playing with a cat toy

Have any of you had fish that played? I was playing with my cat, Clyde. I have a cat toy that's basically a rod with a string and feathers tied to the end of it. I was standing near the big tank flicking it up and down for the cat to play with when I noticed the little JD who is now in the big tank swimming up and down the glass every time I flicked the toy up in the air. I stopped and he stopped. I did it again and he started running up and down the glass again. I thought "No, it must be just coincidence." Then I ran it lengthwise along the tank and he chased it. I flicked it up and down again and he followed it. It just cracked me up. I've seen videos of fish chasing laser lights but I've never had a fish that "played" like this. It just cracked me up.

150 Gallon - Mostly American Cichlids
135 Gallon - Angelfish Community
75 Gallon - Odd couple (Polleni/Angelfish)
55 Gallon - African tank
20 Gallon Long - QT
10 Gallon - Empty

That's awesome. You've got to try to get that on video. Maybe he thinks it's food?

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
