my female kribensis looks like crap!
My female kribensis has been looking pretty crappy lately. Her dorsal fin has been slowly rotting away at about mid body. Her color is more dull than usual, probably from stress from whatever is going on with her. Her fins look ripped but not really rotting. Her scales also look like crap as well. My male has been biting at her sides. They have spawned before and show interest in doing so again (they are body shaking at each other) She doesn't swim away when he bites her though. She is also hiding more than usual. I've been treating my tank with Melafix to help her fins heal. Don't know if its helping or not. I don't know what to do for her so can any one help me out?

If the male is doing damage to her, it might be a good idea to separate them. After the female has healed back up, you can reintroduce them. My mated pair were separated for a couple of months and were showing mating behavior again after being reintroduced for literally about ten seconds.
