I'd say if the discus and angels were fine together before, then go ahead and put the angels back in. People say not to keep them together because angels are more aggressive. They may bully the discus or eat all of the food before the shy discus can get any. I would either get some dither fish like tetras or put the angels back in and watch to make sure the discus aren't being picked on. There are exeptions to every rule.

there are too many misconceptions about discus and angels.
if they were ok together and there was no fighting, everybody was getting enuogh to eat, and most importantly...they were all happy; then i would have left them.
just because someone read something that says thier bad tankmates means nothing.
it all depends on the fish and they always have different personalities.
water quality is good. because other 7 of them is are eating well.
the ph is about 6.5 and temp is about 28 C (82.5 fa)
I feed them with Frozen blood worm. tetra bits tetra breeder. Some times live artemia. beef heart.
and some times beef heart combined with ( spinach or lettuce).
I have a normal diet for them.
they have a kind of stress or disease. and I think it is the stress becuase
they afraid of me.
and When the angels were in tank it was the same problem.
and there is no angel any more.
after I bought some zebra the discus are a little better but as I said
this time the seller lied to me. and that beautiful fishes are my worst bought.
the problem is they are so frightened so they wont eat as much as I want
the other problem is I think some of them have a kind of disease.
because they have a fast movement at once. and they took their boodies with that kind of movement to the nearest plants.
they don't like to eat.
because they are blood checker pigeons they did not became black or dark and there is no wound .
but one of them became very thin and white there is no bright in the colour
any idea
you should turn you lights off for a bit so they can rest for a bit. do a WC every other day or so and dont freak out too much about it...
if it doesnt stop get paraguard and do dips, i wouldnt treat the tank with it. it should help them and even if its not parasites, then i dont think the med will hurt them at all.
the problem is a kind of disease which make three of them ill.
they have whitish and stringy pee. as you told me. but there is not much beef hearts I give them twice a week.
they don't like to eat. its a kind of in body (stomach)disease with no wound or sign.
how can I cure them
and blue I thought I told you why it is my worst buy. because they are 3" and one of them layed eggs. and the seller lied to me because he told me they are young about 3 or 4 months but a female which lay eggs must have at list 7 or 8 months and must be about 4".

every body I myself found some way to get rid of this problem.
first remember in night the tank must be darker than room , ( not very important
do not feed your fish about 2 or 3 days
do a more cycling water ( more than 10 %) each day, because every one said to me about 10 but do more about 15
drop down the temperature to 27 or 26 celsius. (81 or 79 fahrenheit)
then start to do your regular programs.
feed them and enjoy your fish keeping
in addition you will see more growing speed (wow)
hope this helps.
