my cichlids are sick...help!?!

Ok, I've got 3 fish in my tank that are sick or have some disease or something. I will try to describe what the worse one looks like, I have not had a chance to go to my local fish store to ask what it might be, I have never seen this before. On the underbelly by the fins he has a couple of white wart lookin bumps and where his fins meet his body it looks reddish or raw. He is normally my biggest eater and constantly begging at the top of the tank and for the past 3 days he has taken no interest in eating or coming out of hiding. Another one (my beloved female frontosa) has two bumps on her forehead and also has the loss of appetite and is hiding. The third fish that is sick is acting normal but he has a white patch on his side. The first two days I noticed this I treated the tank with Melafix and today I tried using Pima fix to see if that would get a better result.....I haven't noticed any difference. If any of you happen to know what this could be....please let me know, or if you know of something else I should be treating the tank with.

You may wish to test your water .If water parameters are in order,Then I would follow directions on medication, More is not better. Most of the medications take time.

Before anyone can help, we need more information, and pictures if possible.
Please follow this link to the thread with the standard questions, this will give us a start and if we need further details as we work through your problem, we can ask as it goes.

The more detailed information you can provide the faster we can help your fish. Please note, exact water params are going to be very important, so please expect to provide those. It is unsafe to prescribe or use any medications without first knowing water params.

two problems.....one my camera is not good enough to get good pictures to show what it looks like and two I can't even figure out how to post pictures on here. I took a water sample to my lfs to test the levels and the only problem was the ph was a little low but that is to be expected with using melafix. She suggested using metranidazol (sp?) and to add more salt to the tank. It does not look like the yellow fish in the pic posted. I will sit with my fingers crossed and hope this cures it. I am really happy with the fish combination that I have in there.

Fish store will sell you every medication on the shelf. You should be searching for cause of problem rather than cure.Bettababy is correct that without knowing exact water parameters there is little anyone can do but guess. This includes fishstore.
