Are you saying that you paid 3.50 rm for two Discus? According to the converter below that equals $1.11 US Dollars. That can't be right, can it??

Wow, no joke. At actual pet stores if you find them for $39.99 for a three inch fish you found cheap ones. Normally $59-$89 is normal.

yes thats right.. thats why i was surprised to see him pay so much. i understand if it was shipped that would be because of the shipping price but he had got it from a fellow garage breeder. if i buy a discus straight from a well know breeder i would pay much more then that but the discus i got was from a garage breeder as well. $1.11 for 2 x 2.g inch discus versus $15 x 1 2.5 inch discus. mine were a golden,a platinum turquoise and an albino.his were more normal discus.that's where the shock came from.

see all my discus in my discus tank in my aquarium log. i got it from a breeder that sells his fish to the Japanese mostly. he charged me rm10 per fish. it would have cost a bomb if i wanted the perfect ones he had but this were the less perfect ones and yet still i consider them cheap.

Yeah the normal ones can get the prices I mentioned at stores. The more rare ones I have seen for $119+. Those prices do not include shipping if you get them online.

im sure glad i live here in Penang.no wonder people here rare them only to ship them else where.the market is so much better overseas. with the conversion they are earning tons of cash per shipment.
