Morymids and Africans

Anyone here keep morymids with African cichlids? I have a 75 gallon with 6 giant danio (1 albino), 1 giant feather fin synodontis, 2 red zebras, a green severum, and a regular convict cichlid. I am also planning on adding about 15 more assorted African cichlids. Will one morymid work?

i would be carefull with the africans, and just so you know the "assorted africans" are actually all different species and most chains will cram all kinds of africans from diffrent lakes into the same tank. the africans i have are even EXTREMELY aggressive with eachother i couldnt imagine what they would do to anything that wasnt a african. if you wanna see what im talking about click my aquarium tab to see what i got. Are many types of Morymids. Some would not do well with hard water that African Cichlids require.
Your Severum is not an African Cichlid but rather a South American Cichlid and given it's rather peaceful nature and differing needs in regards to water hardness, doesn't belong in a tank with Africans in my opinion. Instead of buying more fish, I would suggest purchasing a book on cichlids so that you have a better idea of what fish will or will not work with each other.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.
