Mbuna hongi getting picked on

I have a single hongi in my mbuna tank and ever since i started picking up 11 hour shifts at work and they stopped getting 3 meals a day(down to 2 due to work) i noticed hes been looking a bit beat up and scared. His fins have nips out of them and he has little pale spots (what i believe to be from nipping as well) more so near his back fin. My theory is that they get more aggressive towards him when they are hungry and he is the smallest of the bunch. I really love this little guy and i dont want to see him die from stress or abuse, Any ideas?

Various Mbuna chichlids, but he didnt make it. i came home from fishing...ironic i know, and he was much more beat up and upside down at the bottom of the tank.

Can you be more specific as to what fish you have? You can post a video or pictures if you are unsure of them.

Hongis are usually more than capable of standing up to aggression so we need to find out what fish is causing the aggression.
