So I recently bought my african cichlid (blue zebra cichlid) a marimo moss ball, for the first two weeks he never even touched the thing, then i started to feed him zuchini and he dosnt necessarily eat the moss ball, he starts pushing it and poking at it and now my moss ball is falling apart and im getting frustrated, what should I do?
cichlids are notorious for eating plants. you can put your moss ball into a vase or bowl. they do best in cool water with low to medium light. change the water every few weeks or so.
Maybe in a closed vase inside the tank so you still have some plants in your setup?
