I've had four for about a month in one of my tanks. They're doing great (surprisingly - considering the state of the rest of the fish).

Last night I was feeding them and one of them ate fish flake right out of my hand. He (can't sex them yet so I use the term loosely) was lining up while I still had my hand out of the tank.

Is this usual?

Angels are very intelligent fish. I just added two more to my tank last nigth and already they coming out and greeting me when I enter the room. They are constantly watching me. It wouldn't surprise me that they will take food from your hand.

Right now I am spending time with my tiger barbs getting them to warm up to me. When I stick my fingers into the tank, they dart around and let me rub their side. My bolivians are starting to warm up to the idea, but are just quite ready yet. :p

angels are pretty observant. I have an angel in my tank and he is the first one to come up to the glass and go to the top of the tank when he sees me. Working in a fish store too, you notice the little quirks of each kind of fish and angels actually seem to be pretty intelligent fish.

I never thought that I'd see the day...

I was feeding Pewter (the angel concerned) this morning when my Dalmatian molly copied him. She grabbed food and ate it from between my thumb and forefinger.

I know mollies are greedy, but I didn't think she would do that - ever!
