Loanly oscar

Hi all...

Im pretty new to the forum, but have been a long time reader.

I have had 2 oscars since they were 2 inches long living in my 6 foot tank.

Unfortunately one got dropsy and I had to euthanize it using your method i read on here with clover oil. It was very sad, but atleast he died peacefully.
They were a good pair because they always laid eggs - although none never hatched.

Now the other surviving oscar is by himself ( now 10 inches ).

I would like to know what would now be a good companion for him.

I know hes lonely and ( it might stupid ), but he looks very depressed and now looks at me like "" I killed his friend" - Its true!

ShouldI put in another full grown Oscar??? Or something else.

My tank is 6 foot X 2 foot high X 1 foot width. I have 2 hood filters and a aqua nova external canister filter ( 1500l/hr ).

Thanks

6' x 2' x 1'? That's a huge tank, lucky you. Besides the lone oscar what else are you keeping in there? Just the one oscar??

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...
