It's the 55g amazon tank. It's "my husband's tank"...He is the one really into discus... and he maintains the tank but I get the easy part..helping choose discus, feeding, and layout of the tank. We have 2 Pigeon Bloods, and one snakeskin...and getting ready for a new tank..lol..Many moons (6-7 yrs)

ago we had a couple cobalts...those were my favorite.

We must both be geeks then. You should see all the charts I made before I start up any aquarium..and I have them posted on the wall by my tanks along with my aquarium logs for each tank. I have every inhabitant listed along with their parameters and then another chart where everything is consolidated into "Target Aquarium Parameters"..lol

It's good to be a geek..how would research and discovery happen without it..

The ones in my aquariums are as good as it gets for now...#1..they are very shy still and when I walk up to the tank they hide..#2 still learning how to get good pictures with my camera.

Nice fish. I neglected to look at all the pics on your aquarium tab. Hopefully you'll end up with Discus that behave like mine do. They were all very shy at first but now when they see me approaching they all swim right up to the front, pushing each other out of the way. "Mom's here and she brings food". I LOVE my fish.

Thanks. Yeah I thought I went to look at your aquariums a while back and I thought you didn't have them posted but then I saw comments from years ago. I must be losing it. Yeah hopefully they will get used to movement outside the tank soon..at night they do come out to one corner of the tank so they can watch TV..lol

Just out of curiosity do you have your fish named? I gotta hear it.
