Lake Tang Stocking

Hey everyone!

I have a 30g tank that I haven't put that much thought into...I've thrown a few things, without doing too much research-bad, I know. I'm having a hard time finding compatibility info about some of the tangs. Currently I have a pair of J. Transcriptus, a teeny tiny Calvus, and a Hap Moorii. I work at a fish store, so truly I can trade fish out as needed. I think I'd like to do more with the Tangs. I do really like the Moorii though, nice looking fish.

What's a good working stock list for tangs? Can you mix and match the Julis? Would some Lamprologus do okay in there? Can you 'overstock' them like malawis? I can usually get whatever I want-finding a certain fish is never a problem. Any suggestions? Will the Moorii be okay with the rest, or is he likely to bully the others upon maturity?

Thanks for the help! :)

i don't know much about tangs except that they are likely to outgrow your tank, especially with 4 of them

Moori are open water haps. They get large and need space. Males can get 10-12" and I would not keep them in a tank less than 6ft. As for the stock I would not add any more julidochromis. They will likely be killed anyway. I would add some small shell dweller like brevis or maybe even occelatus gold.

"responsible fish keeper?... Didn't know there was any other kind"

I am not retarded I just can't spell
