keyhole cichlid brackish?

I was doing some reading on these guys, many of the info says that keyhole cichlids come from slow moving rivers as well as coastal water's. does this mean that Keyholes are found swimming in brackish water as well?

I have kept my pair of Key-hole cichlids for a long time now and no one has ever mentioned that they can withstand brackish water. Live aquaria might have made a mistake by putting them in brackish but I can't confirm this.
