i need opinions on firemouths and convicts

I've never had convicts, but I personally am quite fond of my Firemouth. Shes rather peaceful with everyone in the tank, but doesn't take being bullied and therefore is left alone. :3

well i went with the convict and i love her she is so cute and playful and seems tto get along quite well with my other fish im so happy with my choice

the firemouth is not a bad cichlid to have, but you need a bigger tank, not more fish!!!............All the fish you have been inquiring about reach an average length of 4+ inches, in no time they will all outgrow the 20 gallon tank your putting them in..........African cichlids and american cichlids should not be homed in the same aquarium.........Their requirements are ALOT different and they will just not do well together longterm
