Nope still researching it. I like darker colors so the fish color show up really well. I was talking to Dave (the owner at the good LFS) today and he said they are going to be getting a shipment in next week of a rock that he recommends for cichlid caves its a dark colored rock and he told me the name but now I have no idea what he said it was called. LOL He also said we may be able to work out something were I can come in and work a couple hours a few days a week and they will pay me in fish stuff which I think is great!

That would be awesome!!! I wish my LFS would do that!
But when you remember the name of the rock post it because I am really curious to know what it is now.

calm sorry i missed this one.. yes crushed will work and if you mix arragonite it will help also ..... the rock may be the ones listed or tulfa and they all help ....

also labs are great and cobalts look nice too to bad yout so far away i have a breeder near by that has cobalts cheap!!! so far sounds like you have a good plan but (cus i am slow and dont recall if you said it)
what is your filtration? with mbuna its always good to over stock and double to tripple filtration is always great!!.....

Hey Bear do you know if he ships? At the LFS here there are $12.00 a piece so it maybe worth it to pay the shipping. I can get them at petsmart for $5.00 but I prefer not to buy fish there but I may since there is such a big difference in the price.
