Depends on size of tank and if they are a pair or not. As far as cichlid aggression goes kribs would be considered mild.

38 gallon, And they will be breeding in the future but I believe there is enough space with all the plants and caves.

What is the footprint of the tank? If it is at least 3ft you should be ok but I would watch them. Spawning cichlids can be very aggressive.

I had a 55 gallon setup with 2 kribs and i tried to add 2 guppies. They lasted about 30 seconds. not a good idea. not sure how the betta would do with the kribs, but i wouldn't put one with guppies.

They may not work either. You need faster moving fish like tetras.

What if they do breed then you will have problems. Even non-spawning pairs can be quite aggressive. If the betta did not work I doubt the guppies will.
